Killroom Hamilton Gig Poster
Client: Falls for the Elderly + The Killroom
London hardcore band "Falls for the Elderly" reached out to have a gig poster made for a show at the Killroom in Hamilton.
They provided me with a lot of creative freedom in creating a poster for them. Knowing their style of music, I wanted to create something grungey, DIY, and edgy. I created a collaged poster using Adobe Photoshop and images scanned from thrifted magazines

Magazine Spread
School Project - Second Year
For this school assignment, we were tasked with creating a four-page magazine spread on a topic of our choosing. I chose to do my layout on the local punk scene in London.
I wanted to restrict myself to working with black and white and experiment with spacing and leading in the typography. As part of the assignment, we had to include photographs, headers, subheaders, and photography using an InDesign workflow.

Book Cover Redesign
School Project - Second Year
For this school assignment, we were tasked with creating a new book cover for a novel of our choice. The objective was to experiment with unique and creative typography.
I chose Metamorphosis by Kafka, in which there is some symbolism with food and milk. I chose to use milk to physically paint and then photograph the title of the novel.

Direct Mail Ad Campaign
School Project - Second Year
For this assignment, we worked with fictional non-profit organizations to create a direct mail piece. There was to be an effective call to action, and an interactive component to get people to handle and read the ad.
For my design, I chose to work with a nonprofit focused on helping the homeless population. I used the idea of a cardboard sign as my inspiration. My design includes a small template of a house that can be popped out and folded to create a little cardboard house.
In addition to creating a direct mail campaign, we were also tasked with creating three images for social media posts. These images had to be related in some way to the direct mail campaign to create a cohesive look for the brand between the two mediums. I used the template of the house overtop of images used in the direct mail ad to show the potential of these people being housed through building affordable housing.

Stompbox London T-Shirts
Client - Stompbox London
Stompbox is a local music/art collective that puts on DIY concerts and events. Last summer, they reached out to me with an idea for a company mascot, "Stompy" the Stompbox Baby :)
I was tasked with illustrating two unique t-shirt designs for them to sell at events. We wanted to include the idea of Stompy and focus on a classic, illustrative punk vibe. I created two designs to be used on a black and white t-shirt.

Coffee Bag Illustration
School Project
For this project, we illustrated a design for a coffee bag for a fictional coffee shop based in Stratford, Ontario. In the project specifications we were to create a design that is strong, edgy, unique, and expensive (but worth the price!)
I was inspired by art nouveau artwork involving butterflies, and warm colours and included those elements in my design.

Gig Poster
Client: Grogettes Living Room
Grogettes is a house venue in London, Ontario that hosts exciting, local punk shows.
For this design, I wanted to go with a fiery theme to play off the names of the bands who would be playing the show.

School Project
This school project involved creating a 12-page magazine on a subject of our choosing. After creating our magazine spreads we prepared our files for printing and binding, then created an interactive epub with a promotional video to showcase our completed magazines.

Saddlebound Zine
Personal Project
My late father left behind several USB drives filled with unfinished music he was working on. I decided to compile several lyrics that spoke to me in a small zine illustrated with collage artwork.
I was contacted by Test Market to sell my zines through their storefront on Dundas Street!

Mushroom Baby Single Cover
Client: LOVERS
Local psych-punk band LOVERS reached out to me about creating a cover for their latest single, "Mushroom Baby".
They gave me total freedom in the development of the project. I ended up going with a vibrant illustrative style to go with the psychedelic nature of the music. I took the title of the single literally and created a mutant Mushroom Baby.

Stompfest Event Poster
Client: Stompbox London
This event poster was created for Stompfest, 2023. I was given a lot of creative freedom in creating this poster for Stompbox. I decided to go with a fun, exciting, and approachable colour palette and play with proportion through the main illustration to create a dynamic feel.
